If your SmartClean is showing 100% battery level but leaving the dock just a few inches or so, then returning to dock, the ON/OFF switch may still be set to OFF.

Your SmartClean 2000 can charge up while being powered off, and the charging light will be on.

To run a cleaning cycle, however, the red power switch located on the bottom of the vacuum needs to be switched to the ON position.

Turn the vacuum upside down, and make sure the red switch is toggled to the ON position.
