Make sure the stain lifter is powered off.

Remove the brush head from the hose and connect the clear self-cleaning head to the hose.

Power the stain lifter on and press down the sprayer to activate the self-cleaning feature. 

Remove the self-cleaning head and install the brush head back on to check that the spray nozzle is working properly again.
